Not bamboo lamp is created by the repetition of one single element that can be extended infinitely. The elements are turned in wood, and are drilled inside, where the cable has to pass. There are three variants of the same element; one extension element, one socket element, and one suspension element. For one lamp minimum one socket element and one suspension element is necessary, while there can be added an optional number of extension elements. Adjusting the length of the suspension wire makes it possible to change the inclination of the lamp, because of its suspension system, where the end of the lamp rests freely on the ceiling, which allows the lamp to be rotated in the room. The connections of the elements are highlighted by a rounded finish in the ends, and a plastic washer dividing the elements. This emphasis of the construction has a graphical effect as well, that draws clear circles in the wood along the lamp, and reminds of the structure in a bamboo – without being it – thereas the name not bamboo lamp. The lamp can hang alone or it can be duplicated in a chaotic space installation.
