Antropomorfo
prototype
The Antropomorfo chairs, which are precursors for and related to the Cartoon chair, represents a part of an experimenting study in anthropomorphism; as attribution of uniquely human characteristics to non-human creatures and beings, natural and supernatural phenomena, material states and objects or abstract concepts. We are surrounded by anthropomorphic elements just waiting to be discovered and brought to life by the fantasy of who observes. This project is an interpretation of these living objects that communicate with us silently. The chairs are inspired by the spontaneous expression in children’s drawings and their ability to bring surprising characteristics and proportions to their figures.
